I just read the editorial by Jenée Wilde concerning
the possibility of an interstate along Route 17. This is a
very upsetting matter.
I have been looking to buy a house in the Clarkesville area.
Why? To get away from the traffic, noise, pollution and on-going
building of unsightly subdivisions.
I have gone from seasonal allergies to chronic bronchitis.
All of this is because of air pollution. When I am in your
general area I notice the difference in air quality. I also
notice less traffic and fewer subdivisions.
Through your newspaper I will try to stay posted as to what
will take place. I would love to settle in your area; however,
if this project follows through, then your area will be out
of the question.
Is there nowhere on God's green earth where the people retain
the right to keep it green?
